The major problem with buying designer handbags is that of fakes - sometimes called replicas. As a result people are constantly worrying if they have just bought a fake or replica handbag or a genuine designer handbag. Let's face it if you don't actually know - it is probably a fake. If you want the real thing, go to the real designer handbag store - hopefully they can be trusted to sell genuine bags not fakes or replicas.
It is a strange phenomenon but people seem to want the cachet of owning something that somebody famous owns but they don't want to pay the thousands od dollars it may cost so they opt for fakes instead, which means that there is no longer anything to be gained by owning a design handbag as most of them are fakes !
I guess you can always sit around and compare fakes, to see whoh has got the best ! The same is true for a lot of things in life of course. You can get fake everythings just about and it doesn't seem to bother people. Better have the fakes than nothing at all.
With regard to handbags, why not just buy a handbag that is good looking and does the job ?
